We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate our very own Raymond McLaren, Founder of Andromeda Industries, who has been honoured with the prestigious and inaugural LEEA Lifting Legend Award.

This is no ordinary recognition. Raymond is the first-ever recipient of this title, marking a historic moment not just for him, but for the entire lifting industry. His journey began in the most humble way, hand-splicing wire rope on the back of his LandCruiser with nothing but skill, determination, and a vision for doing things better. From those early days, he built Andromeda Industries from the ground up, leading with innovation, integrity, and passion.

Today, his influence reaches far beyond the company he founded. Raymond’s leadership has set the benchmark for safety, quality, and trust, inspiring generations of lifting professionals. His legacy lives not only in the products we make, but in the people and industry standards he has helped shape.
