Yards & Rubber Rails

Rubber rails are made as precision cut strips of disused conveyor belt. They are typically 100mm wide and up to 11mm thick. Rubber rails have proved very successful in the construction of horse yards. The strength varies between 2000 and 3000 KGS of UTS (App. 2.5 ton breaking strain). This depends on the number of polyester layers in the rubber. Normally there are 3 to 4 layers. Splitbelt Conveyor Rubber which comes in various different widths and thickness is used widely for Arenas, Roundyards, Stables and holding yards.

Horse Floats & Trucks

Andromeda Industries Rubber Split Belt, Enviro Belt 40 and Holy Belt 20 products can add protective layers to horse and livestock transport. Horse dividers are made from a light weight splitbelt 4 to 5mm thick. It is punched with 20mm holes across the belt. This keeps the weight down and allows for air flow especially where there is 6 horses side loaded. The material is tough, durable and the holes being small enough that horse shoes don’t get hooked up. Width is 900 to up to 1800mm and cut to length.

Rubber Stable Floor Tiles

Andromeda Industries Stable Floor Tiles are 1metre X 1metre and 25mm thick. They are easy installation only being 22kg per tile, once on the floor and are butted up next to one another they stay in place. Being 25mm thick they are enough cushioning for horses on stable rest after injury or just everyday stable use. Reduction of Bedding in the Stable is also a huge advantage saving money & time without greater hygiene and less dust in your stable area. These Stable Floor Tiles provide greater insulation from the cold and heat while also giving your much loved horse a barrier from the hardness of a concrete floor. The increased cushioning effect that these Stable Floor Tiles provide will noticeably decrease joint stiffness and hock sores in stabled horses.
